Budapest Card Prices

The Budapest Card is one of the best tools that you can use to help you truly discover all the amazing things that Budapest has to offer, but which card is the best for you?

There are three different types of Budapest Card: 24, 48, and 72-hour styles. Each card is valid from its first use for the period of time marked on the card. The card doesn’t activate until you use it, so they’re easy to buy before your trip, and are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Stock up and save early!

Each card is valid for one individual. While some cards offer discounts for children under a certain age, the Budapest Card is currently not able to offer those discounts.

To determine if the Budapest Card is worth the price, you need to ask yourself three questions:

  1. How long am I going to be staying in Budapest?
  2. How many amazing things do I want to see while I’m there?
  3. How much money do I want to save?

Are you just popping into Budapest for one night to enjoy a drink at the Rhapsody Restaurant and Bar, or a dip at the Lukács Thermal Bath and Swimming Pool? If that is the case, than investing in a 24-hour card might be your best option. If you’re staying longer, or want to take in more than just a drink and a bath, consider a 48 or 72 hour card.

The Budapest Card hands you the keys to the city, or as close as you can get. Dozens of bars, restaurants, spas, museums, and other locations offer enormous discounts on admission, services, or purchases. You can use the city’s public transportation for free, take in the sights with free walking tours, or pop into the Lukács Thermal Bath for a free visit. The possibilities are endless.

Check out our Discounts page for more information about all the amazing savings that are possible with the Budapest Card.
